Plus, renting a beach house on IOP provides a great backup plan for rain, ensuring that your celebration can continue smoothly regardless of the weather.

Another favorite is Washington Square Park, which boasts historical stone monuments, cobblestone streets, iron fences, and large oak trees, providing a classic Charleston backdrop. Historical houses with charming brick architecture and flowering window boxes line the cobblestone Chalmer’s Street just outside the park.

This park features a large white gazebo that offers shelter from unexpected rain, making it a charming and practical location for your elopement photos. Similarly, White Point Garden offers a beautiful setting along the Battery with sweeping oak trees and historical houses nearby, and it also has a gazebo that can be used in case of rain.
